DoubleTake does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your videos never leave your device.

DoubleTake ("the App") is a video recording application developed for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

DoubleTake does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
Location data
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Video or audio content you record
Photos or files from your device

3. Device Permissions

DoubleTake requests the following device permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

Camera: Required to record video. The camera feed is processed on-device only and is never transmitted to any server.
Microphone: Required to capture audio alongside your video recordings. Audio is recorded locally and never transmitted.
Photo Library: Required to save your recorded videos to your device's Photo Library. The App does not read or access any existing photos or videos beyond what you explicitly create with the App.

All permissions are requested at runtime through standard iOS prompts. You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings.

4. Data Storage

All videos recorded by DoubleTake are stored locally on your device in your Photo Library. The App does not use any cloud storage, remote servers, or third-party hosting services. No data leaves your device through the App.

5. Third-Party Services

DoubleTake does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking tools.

6. Children's Privacy

DoubleTake does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
